Different people like doing different things after meals. Everyone has different habits and preferences. Different eating habits lead to different physiques and bad dietary habits can influence our health, some of them even make us get various diseases. The first thing we shouldn't do after meal is to eat fruits. Though most people like eating fruit after meal, it's a wrong living habit to eat fruits after meal. If we eat fruits after meal, fruits will not be digested normally. If it lasts for a long time, it will cause distention, diarrhea and constipation.
The second wrong living habit is to drink strong tea after meal. It will influence our digestion if we drink strong tea after meal. In addition, drinking strong tea after meal will make undigested protein in our stomach combine with tannic acid, forming non-digestible sediments, which can influence the absorption of protein. Tea can also obstruct the absorption of Fe. If this phenomenon last for a long time, it will cause iron deficiency anemia.
The third wrong living habit is smoking after meal. The damage will be ten times larger than in normal time if people smoke after meal. It's because most harmful ingredients in smoke have been adsorbed and they are bad for our liver, brain and heart.
The fourth wrong living habit is to bath after meal. Bathing after meal will reduce the digestive function of intestines and stomach and cause indigestion.
The fifth wrong living habit is to take a walk after meal. It will influence the absorption of nutrient substance. It's more serious to the elder since their cardiac function has been slowed down, the blood vessel will be hardened and the blood pressure will be decreased after meal.
